Throne started with a simple idea, to give new life to old watches by pairing them with beautiful handmade leather straps. After nearly two years building a business based around sourcing reclaimed watches and handmade straps, they’ve decided that it’s time to design their very own watch.Perfect Boyfriend Jeans

CREEM MAG E-Shop // Refind Denim
CREEM: How is your brand different from other labels that center around vintage jeans?

NYC // Outdoor Activities for Summer
One of our favorite things about Summer in NYC besides it’s absence of snow and ice is how many outdoor events there are…AND most of them are free to join. Filling up your calendar with activities in the city this year won’t be that difficult, especially with our help. For those of you who enjoy food, music and/or fun outdoors activities (everyone)…this is the list of hot spots and things to do this time of year. Check it out:
Perfect for foodies or for anyone who’s looking for a place to chow down, take a trip to Brooklyn Flea’s Smorgasburg. It’s a weekly food festival that takes place on Saturdays and Sundays in Brooklyn. Click here for location.
Kayak around Manhattan for free and take in the skyline. The NYC Downtown Boathouse offers free sit-on-top kayaks for public use at each of their four city locations. Click here for more info.
An outdoor day-party in Brooklyn that starts at 3pm on Sundays equipped with food/drink stands, DJ, and dance floor…a recipe for a good time! Tickets are $15 at the door and $10 in advance. All ages welcome. Click here for more info.
This bi-level behemoth beer hall has a 3,500-square-foot ground floor and a roof deck almost as large, along with a beautiful view of Manhattan (and McCarren Park) and a beer-friendly food menu.
Party at MoMA PS1′s Warm Up 2014 on Saturdays from late June into September. Advance tickets for the Long Island party are $15, where you can listen to music, drink, and check out the exhibits. Click here for more info.
Take the ferry to Governors Island! Every weekday morning this summer, the island offers free bikes. Even better, getting here is free too! Click here for more info.
Grab a Nathan’s Hotdog or funnel cake, walk the boardwalk, take a swim at the beach, or ride the 100 year old Cyclone roller coaster at NYC’s Coney Island. Click here for more info.
Check out Summer Streets, when seven miles of road from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park along Park Avenue are closed off on Saturday mornings in August. There are free bike rentals, rock-climbing, a zip line, and more. Click here for more info.
Summer Screen Outdoor Movies
Sure, the Manhattan skyline is nice, but we’re doubly excited about the return of open-air movies in East River State Park this summer. Seating begins at 6pm for the 8:30pm screenings, so you can bet spots will fill up fast.
Swim in a rooftop pool — we recommend The Dream Downtown’s ‘The Beach,’ which non-hotel guests have access to if they rent a 6-8 person cabana.
NYC // Best Outdoors Drinking Spots
With the arrival of July and it’s warm temperatures, summer is in full swing! This is the time of year when everyone has outdoor fun and refreshing drinks on their mind, especially after such a long winter.
